AMEX Card getting declined

I tried to donate but every time I try do so my card American Express card keeps getting declined for some reason. I don't know if it has to do with currency or not, since I use US Dollars and not Euros. I have eno0ugh money on my card to make the donation. The help is very much appreciated

I think currency is not the problem, I get USD donations. But sorry, don't know why exactly it isn't working...
